Made a run to Guelph to visit Anna in hospital this morning. Was there early enough to get in an hour's fishing before the visit. Only hit 2 pools but I'm happy with the results.

 

Nothing huge but still fun. Next week I'll hit a couple of different pools.

Nice man! First week of august is when things usually really start to pick up in the rivers here in guelph for bass blastin!! I find yellow anything seems to be key to enticing the bigger fellas!

I managed a couple three pounders just up river from where you were in that second picture.

 

There are some hogs in there for sure
