4x4bassin Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 As per an earlier post I am heading up to the mouth of the Notty this weekend to try my luck flatlinning for some rainbows. Has anyone been out in the bay recently ? If so any tips !!! What are the conditions at the mouth ? Should we try some where else like Craigleith or Thournbury ? Thanks
River Rat Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 I'd love some notty water conition info too....a PM would be great. Blown ? Brown ? Fishable ? I will share guys, PM's only. Cheers RR
Fisherman Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 In Angus it's only gone down about 2 2.5 feet, still pretty murky. I would be more tempted to flatline off Craigleith, Millionaires Mile or Tbury if it's anything but wind out of the north. There's still some ice floating around out there.
4x4bassin Posted April 10, 2009 Author Report Posted April 10, 2009 Thanks guys , I think we are going to wait and see what the wind conditions are going to be like . Calling for moderate NW winds so Wasaga could be out anyway !!! No one here fish Gbay yet for rainbows ???
krawler Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 I fish the area on weekends when i can. Have not been out this year, i fish on the east side of nottawasaga bay, west winds always push the ice on our shoreline. shore angling has been slow, i think in a boat would be more productive.
centerpin_drift Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 i dont think anyone fishing gbay wants to give up any reports, or the entire GTA will be crowding up our water, and judging from the turnout in tbury this morning, theres not much water left for the locals
