JeffBornFishin Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Nice guys! Ill be home next weekend, maybe we can get a drift in. I have a new spot, and it has treated me very well! Take a team sign
JeffBornFishin Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Great report and pic Cliff Thats a pretty nice looking fish for first one of the year. I would like to give that a try sometime. I am sure you and Bly will catch a whole mess of 'em next time around
Cookslav Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Good on you for persisting! That purdy fish makes it worth while for sure....beautifull coloring on that fish. Cheers,
kemper Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Take a team sign Oh I will...and I might just nudge Cliffs into the water when hes not looking. Call it friendly competition
NAC Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I always prefer our wild, self-sustaining fish over the stocked cookie-cutters of our brethren to the south. They are stronger, faster and more attractive. p.- Huh, whatchu talkin bout Willis? Surely you're not knocking the Niagara fishery....
ccmtcanada Posted March 14, 2009 Author Report Posted March 14, 2009 Huh, whatchu talkin bout Willis? Surely you're not knocking the Niagara fishery.... I don't think he is. I believe he's talking about the Lake Ontario and Erie tribs south of the border.
jwl Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I don't think he is. I believe he's talking about the Lake Ontario and Erie tribs south of the border. I wouldn't say he was knocking the Niagara Fishery...when you catch a 5 lber one drift and a 12 lber the next, they aren't cookie cutters it's a diverse mix of a couple strains of fish..been getting lots of big fin clipped stockers thuogh...good year for it from all the stocking 4-5 years ago..thanks to the US side
lucabrasi Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Nice going!! That's not a tough day at all. Sometimes catching the one and only fish you work your butt off for can be so rewarding.
Greencoachdog Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 yanno, without a face to go with that fish... it could be anyones. Since it's been months since you've caught a fish... you wouldn't have happened to met up with the Kemper dude on the trib, took a pic of his fish and paid him $20 to let you claim here for your own eh?

Glen Glen Glen.... You know me better than that.... I wont pay more that $10 for that.
Greencoachdog Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Glen Glen Glen.... You know me better than that.... I wont pay more that $10 for that. Bwahahahaha!!! I guess I over estimated your level of desperation by $10!
