Anyone have any input on this reel. I want a low profile reel that will reel in baits like a calcutta or curado. I need left hand too. Is this it?

I think Calcutta's are ONLY the ROUND-MODEL baitcast reels....almost positive.

 

If you're in the market for a low-profile baitcast reel... I bought 4 DAIWA TIERRAS found HERE ... and I've NEVER had any problems with them!

Looks like a dandy-fine reel to me!!!

 

Are you left handed, or do you cast with your right and reel with your left?... like right handed people are supposed to do!

Ya might want to pick up some spare ( pawls) in advance they seem to wear out , more so than most reels . Save on down time order them now....The pawl is the little pin that moves the line back and forth on the worm gear ahead of the reel
