Jack Lake Apsley

Hey guys planning the first ice fishing trip with my grandpa and was planning on going to jack lake in Apsley. Was wondering if anyone has fished there this season and what the ice condtions are like?

 

Any tips are really appreciated

I fished on Wollaston - just up the road from there and was 6-8" so Jacks should be in fine shape now. Check regs as there is some weird geographic restrictions- 1/2 of the lake is designated as a Sanctuary.

I fished Jacks Lake for 3 straight days and caught jack...lol...but that was in June.

get some pinhead minnows on your way up. and if u walk out a little ways the crappie should be around

The last time I fished there we found the crappy were suspended, hope this helps.
