Governator Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 Hey Guys, Well we had a trip booked for a cottage next to lake joseph but haven't heard from the owner so I don't think it's going to go through. It's disappointing when we both booked time off work and were planning a Thursday-Sunday trip for some pike. Does anyone have any recommendations for 2 guys looking to rent a cottage & boat for a few nights? We had initially planned this with a $500 budget and not sure where to look with such little time. We're looking for a place around 2hrs-3hrs drive from the barrie area. Perhaps North Bay would be a good place to start? johnnyb Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 Definitely start checking out lodges on Nipissing -- for your budget and drive-time, I'm sure you could go have some fun in the West Arm...Lakair, West Nipissing Resort...would be where I would start....good luck!
