Governator Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Hey Guys, My buddy and I rented a cottage for next weekend on Ada Lake which is a very small lake just a couple minutes south of Joseph. We're staying from the 16th-19th and looking to bring in some pike during the trip. Does anyone have any tips on fishing the south end of joseph or ada lake? Cheers Gov
irishfield Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 With any lake I don't know... I'd start with a #5 Mepps (or similar) bucktail/spinner. Black/Red... black/purple..

johnnyb Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I'm not familiar with Ada Lake, but if you can get into the Little Joseph River (connecting to Lake Rosseau), work the shorelines with big tandem spinnerbaits...there's a lot of timber and rock to be found, and some of the channel markers are on top of big shoals with healthy weedbeds. Be sure to bring your camera...even if you don't catch fish, the scenery will be fantastic up there this time of year...good luck!
jediangler Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Don't forget a rapala J-13 in a bright colour like orange or yellow, that always gets them if they won't chase a bucktail.
