Balsam Lake

I'm Heading to Balsam Lake this weekend for 2 days to try for some musky

Does anyone have any good patterns of baits for this time of year for the lake .

Body baits or more Bucktails . I usually do ok with the black and orange bucktail in liner spinner.

I have had the most sucess in the Kawarthas this time of year with an 8" Perch Jake.

Trolling Willy baits in South Bay.

Friend of mine has been doing pretty good with a believer fishing 20 feet of water off the outside edge of weedlines. He's a trolling machine.

Big spinnerbaits, the best bet. Leave the in-liners at home though!
