walleyemen
Decided to hit the upper niagara this morning with the son and his friend for some smallie action, had bought a new dropshot setup to replace the one i had lost so i needed to get the stink off of it, morning was nice overcast and about a 7 km wind managed a few nice fish ,but around 11:00 the wind started howling like crazy, river was capping pretty bad so we decided to play it safe and head home early, in pic 1 the waters near flat and in #2 holy crap LOL, all in all a great day ,aways nice to get the boyz out, better fishing then getting into trouble. ccmtcanada
Even though you had to leave early, you got into some nice bass. Mother nature sure has a way to let you know that she still rules doesn't she? I've seen Lake O go from smooth as glass to 4 foot rollers in 10 minutes before!! Joey
Good for you for playing it safe. No fish is worth your life. Water can be so dangerous, especially the Mighty Niagara. Nice smallies Joey
