evster Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 This weekend my wife and I toured around Bruce Peninsula to do some sight seeing and get some pictures. We went to some places suggested by Deano and also found some of our own. This one was taken at Bruce Caves near Wiarton. These are really amazing caves carved into the Niagara Escarpment. These ones were taking at Lion's Head lookout. An amazing view of Georgian Bay, the pictures don't do it justice. An abandoned old truck we found in the bush. These final pictures were taken in Southampton. The sunbeams coming down from the clouds were just amazing. It was a great place to hike and see amazing views. Recommend it to anyone! I think we'll be going back before the end of the year.
brandon Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 beauty pics man....love the one with the lighthouse
Rich Clemens Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Nice shots Evster. I amazed at some of the pics being posted on here and the clarity of the water. Be cure to take your camera again on the next trip.
Deano Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Great shots Evan, looks like you had a great time.
shane Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Nice shots. The Bruce peninsula is an amazing place. We've been up there about fifty times and still find new things to see or do whenever we go. For some reason we never went to Bruce's Caves though. Looks pretty cool. Maybe next time.
danc Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Those are just great evster. I like the second one best where you can see the rocks below the waters surface. Polarizer??
evster Posted August 13, 2008 Author Report Posted August 13, 2008 Yep, circular polarizer filter, works great for water shots.
tbayboy Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Great pics, all of them. Gotta get me a filter now (not that it'll help me but its an excuse to spend money hehe)
