tributaryhunter Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 hit one of my fav spots in brantford for eyes last nite, did pretty well, biggest was around 4 smallest was pound in a half, it seems the vibrax spinners were producing more than the jigs and other baits last nite, got 4 eyes in total between three guys, started at 10 till 1am. heading back out ton i'll post another report wen i get back cheers.

Guest Johnny Bass Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Spinners are great pickerel lures at night, over weeds especially. Thanks for the report. Where's the pictures??
Mike the Pike Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Sounds like its the right time to get em don't forget to take some pics nerxt time out
limeyangler Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Thanks for sharing that. I'm gonna have to try that...gonna go to CT and get a Glow Mepps. I am on a lake that seems to shut down for walleye as soon as it gets dark...its very muddy lake....but i always heard walleye fishing is good at night.....i'm wondering whether your tactic might prove fruitful...ty for the tip.
