Stoty Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 Hey everyone, I am hoping to get out to Crowe Lake this weekend, but wanted to know what the ice conditions are like out there? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers, *Stoty
Big Cliff Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Don't know the lake and I'm not sure if it is zone 17 or 18 but Sturgeon Lake had lots of slush on it as of yesterday, these cold nights might have firmed things up a bit but most likely it will have just made a crust on top of the slush. Sorry I can't be more specific but if you are going make sure you have water proof boots. Nothing ruins a good day fishing faster than wet feet this time of the year.
kingjames_2nd Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Can anybody wiegh in on the ice conditions at Crowe lake now? It's probably a sloppy mess but I thought I'd ask here before I went to see for my self. thanks! James
Ramble Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 I heard Moira lake had about 7 inches from a guy. I'm not sure where he went out on it, or how far. That's about as close as i can get to ur area. -Dave

kingjames_2nd Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 (edited) I phoned chris's Baits who were open and helpful but were not very positive about the ice conditions. I suppose if I had a floater suit and a buddy with a rope, and a http://www.thewilcraft.com/the_vehicle.php , I might venture out there. Alas, I have none of those. Thanks for the replys Edited December 27, 2008 by kingjames_2nd
