Now i did take alot of photo's and when i sat lots i mean lots....lol These are just a few of my favorites i thought i would share with you. And can you spot the canadian flag on this next picture? Edited January 29, 2008 by nautifish
cranks bait Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 Found the flag, right up on the hight part of the rock in the middle. Nice pictures. You are making me drool over the second one though, as tha mountain is an ice climbers (that's me) heaven. Lots of vertical with easy access to the headwall.
nautifish Posted January 29, 2008 Author Report Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) I think i'll just stick to the walking trail up the mountain.....lol.... I have some better shots will see if i can find them. Well done for finding the flag. Edited January 30, 2008 by nautifish
brandon Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 is that mount cheminis up near Larder Lake??
wallyboss Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Isn't that "Chapeau de Tachereau"??? Fishing heaven up there.
nautifish Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 lol I'll let you guy's figure it out...... Absolutley beautiful country up there Just beautiful.
wallyboss Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 I think that me and Brandon are talking about the same place. Between Larder Lake and Rouyn-Noranda. I have always been told it was Chapeau de tachereau because it look like a hat!
nautifish Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 Actually its known as cheminis mountain. Which means upside down pot by the local indians.
wallyboss Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Same mountain, but i knew a different name for it.
nautifish Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) Well all i can assume wallyboss is thats the french name for the mountain. Edited January 30, 2008 by nautifish
wallyboss Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Actually i was wrong all along about Chapeau de Taschereau. In French they call it Mont Chaudron(cooking pot) I knew where it was I just had the wrong name for it. The other one is a bit north of there on the Quebec side.
