danc Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 I took a drive this afternoon to a picturesque bay on Lake Superior. I was a little disappointed to see some rather heavy fog as I drove out there. But I should have known better. I usually get some nice unique shots in the fog. The bay has a mountainous west side to it. The mountain tops were covered in low clouds and/or fog. Down the road a way sits an old abandoned church. I'm sure that it was built in the 1800's. The church has been sitting idle for a few decades. The building has so much character. And finally, this lichen and ice covered rock made for a nice contrasting scene.
