Hey everyone merry christmas going up to my cottage tomo and want to get out on little lake for the first time ever. was wondering if anyone knew how much ice there is. also what can be caught from this lake other then pike? thank you

In the winter, pike and crappie.

saw some guys walkin out there the other day, but i dont know thickness, and with the milder weather, dont know that id trust it.... only 2 inches or so down at the barrie marina

its been frozen for about a month now so I would think it would be fine. Marina just froze over about a week ago so you better watch out over there!

the barrie marina had about 4 inches of ice yesterday, little lake has 6-8 inches of ice in most spots as of now, but with any early ice check the thickness as you go. good luck
