mepps Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 I use braid exclusively. I have noticed that few fish get away sinc ei made the switch from mono years ago. What i like most is teh easy of use and castability, particularly ona baitcast reel.
Matt15 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 i use both braid and mono. It depends what im fishing for and what technique i'm using.
GbayGiant Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 For all the sensitivity freaks out there, I got a couple custom walleye rods last year with red cedar wood handles, the weight isn't noticable but the extra sensitivity compared to cork is, looks sweet to, I recommend you try it out if you like extra sensitivity. GLoomis + Wood handle + PowerPro = lot's of Walleyes .
