solopaddler Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 This link is invaluable. Once you've gone a couple of times and have a yardstick to measure the flow rates against you'll pretty much know what the water levels will be like.... http://scitech.pyr.ec.gc.ca/waterweb/formNav.asp
FishFinder Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 super low and clear, best bet is to go out east
Milty Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Hit the notty today,...what the heck,..its the lowest and clearest I have ever seen,...dont waste your time,....but atleast i know where all the hidden structure is now...lol
buckster Posted September 29, 2007 Author Report Posted September 29, 2007 is it just me or is anyone else doing a rain dance well as of october 1st at least i can go for deer
Rich Clemens Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Water levels on the French are down, maybe a coupel feet. I understand they are to be opening the dams in the next week or two, so the levels will rise. The owner of Wolseley Lodge told us that. Sounds like they do this each fall to lower Nipissing a little in preparation for the spring thaw. (MY guess anyway)
