Not to worried about the cost of it so all suggesstions would be appreciated. I was looking at the stradic, and comments on it? This reel would be great for what you want but also could be used for other species as well. I have a couple including the ST1000 that I use in the creeks and ponds for trout, and on the ice. Super smooth reel. Just sent you a PM with further info.
