advice on lake in eastern ont

I am planing a trip on Sept 28 - 27 in the Ottawa area, and would like to have some advice as to where I can best go fishing. I do not mind going to a lodge or resort, but am happy with a hotel.

Equipment - 14' motorized canoe, pole.

My wife will be with me so i am hoping the THIS TIME I can catch more than her. Species is not important, just good eating! Bass, pickerel, pike, or even good size panfish are fine.

if you just want to catch fish i would try the ottawa river. its full of fish and every kind of fish can be caught!

Here's a recent Ottawa River report....fishndevil did the report and caught a lot of good eating fish!!!!
