Canoe2fish Posted September 5, 2007 Report Share Posted September 5, 2007 Try the ponds on York road east of Victoria. (Pike, crappie, perch & carp) The Eramosa flows past at the back of the ponds. (Bass & pike) and there is lots of access to the Eramosa between victoria and downtown. All within a walk or bike ride from the U of G. Also, if I'm guessing you don't have wheels, you can take the bus across town and walk to Guelph lake from there. It might be sort of cheating, but you can access the lake several places without paying at the main gate...PM me if you want directions.
