Hello Fisherfolk,

I managed a day on the Bow with my brother while I had to go out west on a golf trip. It was a fantastic day drifting down the river. He did most of the rowing and I did most of the fishing. Although we stopped periodically and I let him have first cast on some fishy looking water, it's tough to brag I outfished him, when he didn't fish much. The Bow is an awesome fishery and if you get to Calgary, you have to check it out. I hope the pics work...

All these were caught on the trusty golden stonefly.

We had a lot of hookups and were broken off by some brutes as well!

Cheers

Great work! Love the pics...the scenery is amazing and the fish have some great colours. Great job out there...especially since you had to use barbless hooks!!!

Thanks for the report... cant wait for the waters to become more fishable here in my neck of the woods so I can pull out some browns... That report and those pics definately feeds the urge to get out though... Thanks for sharing
