  1. I use wnystorage. Right across the boarder. Never a line. Cheaper fees
  2. Ive bought hds units and reels from bbcboards. Also have sold equipment there
  3. Usually we launch out of crystal beach. But wouldnt be opposed to launching elsewhere.
  4. Has anyone went out lately for smallies on Erie? I know it's not the best time now. I had planned to fish else where on Sunday, but my brother has to help take down a venue at the homeshow, so we figured let's try Erie since the show is on the way home and were not heading out of our way or being rushed from our usual spots on gbay. Thanks!
  5. Only when running on a bass boat. Dont bother otherwise.
  6. Or launch in honey harbour, and head out. Lots of smallies in the 1-4lb range.
  7. Victoria Harbour is your best bet. I was there a few weeks ago. No issue with the launch. They revamped it this year.
  8. Do they have a new number or email address? Says the number is out of service.
  9. Thanks. Not to far, ill give them a call
  10. The whole west arm is mapped on my Navionics+ card and Hotmaps Platinum from 2012. The + version has more detailed contours. We stayed at West arm lodge. Nice place and owners. Right on the water. No complaints
  11. Thanks for the response. Ive looked into skeg guards but may just try to restore it because im considering selling the boat at the end of the season to upgrade.
  12. Cross lake was by far the best area. My friends and i boated a few pike in the low to mid thirties and more really nice sized bass just a bit smaller than the one i posted. There were a few boats casting bucktails by the islands.
  13. Was out fishing on the West Arm this past weekend. For the most part, fishing was good. A few small walleye (all under the slot), countless small pike (lost count), two largies that tipped the scales over 5lb. Unfortunately, no muskie to be seen. I thought we did pretty good considering this was our fishing time fishing the West Arm and second time fishing Nipissing. Their is a lot of water to cover. We only fished from Cross Lake to the narrows before Musky Island. Spent a lot of time looking for decent weeds and exploring. Also spent some time at Black Rock. The pike kept everyone busy, even friends of mine who dont get out as often. I was glad that they were enjoying the trip. Would of been disappointing to not catch over the 3 day period. Heres my younger brother with one Managed to hit a narrow shoal that spiked up out of nowhere. Damaged my prop and skeg. Already purchased a new 4 blade prop. Looking for a recommendation on where to get the skeg fixed, preferably in the GTA. No marker, and even on Navionics, showed 10ft of water without obstructions. Figured it was bound to happen someday. I practically fish Georgian Bay weekly, figured it be there.
  14. It was ok for us. Besides losing a prop and skeg lol. No muskies to be seen. Could not keep the pike off the line. Two largies over 6lbs. A few small walters. Thought we did ok for our first time in the area. Too much water to cover.
  15. Im sure they will work. Ive had musky hit the bass sized ones. The Doc seems to walk easier though, compared to the zara's (i have not fished the musky sized ones) according to posts i remembered reading on another forum.
  16. Same. Im headed up with a friend who has a small tin. Don't want to ditch him, so ill be trying out "new to me" spots in the Arm. Haven't read too many if any reports this year from the actual arm. Before you left, what were the water temps like?
  17. All my musky caught so far, have been landed on buck tails or bass gear. I do have a top raider and the lure pictured above. Which were recommended by friends. Unfortunate about the french, I've been skunked twice this season, hopefully third times a charm, next weekend.
  18. Slow fishing or not, always great to get up north! Next weekend will be my third trip up to that area. Slow for sure, but always a great time. Did you by any chance manage to fish anywhere in the West Arm?
  19. Nice fish. I was on the french earlier, was slow but the bass and pike kept me busy. Not good hearing the west arm is slow. Im headed there on the long weekend for the first time. Ill try my luck at finding a big 'ski.
  20. I was on the french canada day weekend, weed growth was way behind. Good luck, they weren't biting than.
  21. If you have a day in mind, im always up for some muskie fishing in the kawarthas. I usually have a day off during the week. I also have my own boat, or could tag along.
  22. I don't use this charger, but a few friends own them, no issues. Pretty cheap price for what your getting. Solid deal.
  23. His stock is pretty poor right now, i don't see why any team would interested. The contract signed looks better than what he was asking for going to arbitration. An easier contract to take on for a team like Winnipeg to rid of him
  24. I don't think he nets more on the open market, i can see him being traded, which is why they didn't take him to arbitration, cheaper contract more enticing. Just a thought.
  25. Thanks for the responses. Going to try Redstone and Green.
