I had a buddy pull one out of the credit in early august. Probably in the 7-10pound range

Same thing around here....levels dropped and cleared in no time. Atleast in the bigger rivers we can still hit some drop backs in those nice deep holes while the put the feedbag on!
-
Yeah they are starting to show up in the Kawarthra Locks too. Always a cool thing to see but I would like to check out Gamebridge too just so I know there are actually a fair amount of walleye in simcoe!
-
They are in at COlpoy's, if u know where to go

mmmm I can taste the rum already...one more sleep...have a good time buddy
-
flying out thursday too...is your flight around 5?
-
um yeah I fished there. The water is down about 4ft so the normal sparts are kinda not working. The ice is in the 15-20" zone in the main lake, sucks with a hand auger. The 20 ft hole is the place to be. Kinda a long walk but it produces! Went twice this year and got about 4 pike and too many panfish too count. Get there early

thank god they didn't get rid of higgins, kosteatsyn and latendresse! Even Ryder picked up the pace a little in the past few games. Huet was going in to one of his funks again. I am pretty sure he has never played more than 43 games in a season....and he may have been crap for the playoffs. We have the best rookie goalie (price) and now the best ahl goaile (halak) for the past two seasons. Go habs!!! Pitsburg looks tough now though

My jaw hit the floor when I heard the news. Montreal has had sucess using rookie goalies in he playoffs before. I hope this is the push Price needed to be a little better and hopefully it is not too much pressure for him. But Montreal is totally getting Hossa!

hmmmm...would that be from a musky? I guess the ice boom hasn't started yet....or the upper is not breaking up at all -
The goalie you are thinking of is Justin Pogie I think. Yeha he is pretty good. Ottawa and Carolina made a 4 player trade today!
-
Man your reports are making me jealous! I am going to have to follow you guys out there some day so I can finally get into some! Good work guys!
-
plain crazy! That's one of those days your beer will freeze before you are done it....definatley need a shanty on a day like that!
-
you can always try to reverse it a bit a a slow speed while trying to engage the 4x4 sometimes this helps, or reverse back then slowly move forward to engage

While I was shovelling I saw this intense blue light flash and then the thunder rumbled on for a good 15 seconds. Kinda freaked me out at first
-
Now correct me if I'm wrong but this is on Erie, and aren't there only about a hnadful of guys that can still fish for walleye there? That fine is laughable...I wonder how much money he mad off of that 2300lbs of walleye
-
blah...looks like I will have to hit simcoe's ice until the credit clears back up. Thanks for the info buddy
-
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had a river report for the eastern L. Ontario tribs. I was thinking the Wilmot. Do you guys know if it is blown or locked up? Also if you have any info on Cobourg, Ganny, or Duffins that would be great. Thanks guys!
-
I didn't know they had to get that far up to spawn succesfully. I took a walk down to the ladder last week saw a few bows trying to jump the falls but none in the ladder. Do you know why they keep it closed for the salmon? Do they not want them getting in to the upper?

Just talked to a buddy today that hit one on the credit the same day a little south of were I was! Definetley a suprise usually it's all chromers by now
-
Credit is the home river, so we need to ensure it doesn't turn into a slaughter house like....um...bronte!
-
Believe it or not a brown full of eggs came out of the Credit River today. Must say this is a first... was still fully loaded, but she's back in there to lay her eggs! Tight Lines

You "it happens every year" guys....bite your tongue... who cares if they went out early positive thoughts are the only real things.......... stay safe guys accidents happen even with 20 inches of ice
