  1. Yip, here you need a MN license to cross boundry waters and you also need to notify DNR if launching from Canadian waters The river here is so narrow though it's a pita. I side on caution. I never fish the US side *Sorry, not DNR, you need to notify customs Lol look how narrow it is
  2. Oh you'll love NW Ontario!!!
  3. That's what the regs are for!!! Save em to your phone and don't get busted because of "what you heard"
  4. Great video!!! Looks like a blast!
  5. My bad, didn't notice the hooks I use the 5"ers. Fun bait to fish!
  6. What do you mean by single hook? I fish em on a widegap hook Texas rigged and it's a wicked mid summer bait
  7. Lol, I went for a swim and didn't notice how my hair had dried hahaha Even the lady at the grocery store was laughing at it lol I've never seen a wave over 4ft that I liked. Just makes fishing miserable imo. I don't mind rain but heavy wind sets me off completely, always has
  8. On a jig yeah, but the bait itself floats
  9. Great shooting guys!!!! Bet it was a blast! I should probably give ya a shout and catch up Brock, it's been awhile! Looks like all is well though!!!
  10. A local shop here Has tonnes, shoot me a pm if ya want me to grab some. There not too pricey either, I think around $6 a bag
  11. Lol I was wondering the same??? Are you putting fish in the livewell for a picture?
  12. It certainly can be, but my kiddos "step grandpa" lol has Lyme's. He's 66 I think? And he certainly struggles but you're hardly know. He still runs the trap line and is probably 80% functional Just be smart. Long clothing like Brian said, thorough search when ya get home, clean ya clothes!
  13. Picked this one up today, best of the year thus far. Surprised how fat it was Just tossed spinners off the dock for 2 hours, fun lil outing. Only bass of the day, caught 5-6 pike in the 20-30" range Sorry for the crappy pic. Didn't realize how dirty the lense was lol. How about that hair? ????
  14. ✓✓✓ good on ya OI???
  15. I've done good on #'s but nothing of size yet. Just a bunch from a 1lb to 2.5lbs Still fun though!
  16. Hahaha sick! My biggest Laker is 16lbs
  17. White tube or 1-1.5oz bucktails jigs for me
  18. Oh walleye would be a blast! No doubt you could get them on the fly in the evenings, especially in fall. That would be epic!
  19. Are you my dad? Lol He uses 50-65lb braid to jig, swears by it. Boy was he mad when we hit up the upper Manitou for Lakers and he couldn't even get to bottom ???
  20. It's easy for me because I use the same products over and over
  21. Lol I have to agree OI. Im normally fishing 8lb powerpro and I can land sturgeon on that. Ill fish 15lb too but the highest I go is 20lb braid. The weeds here just aren't thick enough to warrant going higher. My pike rods currently have 20lb suffix 832. And I don't run a leader, never seem to need it so I don't bother
  22. If 3" is too big, remember you can TR m them down!!!
  23. I was stoked when lily caught a 12" walleye at age 4. But.....she reeled it in herself lol Always amazing to see kiddos catching fish! It's just pure excitement!
  24. That's amazing Steve!!! His first fish is longer than him lol Great going dad and son!!!
