  1. On our backlake trips, I always take some tylenol#3's just in case a kid breaks an ankle or something Also benedryl in case we encountered something unknown someone allergic too. Keep in mind, we almost always have shore lunch on backlake trips so the possibility of injury is higher Also cotton balls dipped in Vaseline.
  2. Sure does!!!
  3. Sweet! Honestly, for years I have sworn off live bait. But I went back and tried again. I was very surprised. Glad to see you using bloodsuckers too. I know they cost a small fortune, but obviously it pays off For walleye in summer I'd say hands down the best bait Oh, lil tip so you don't lose as many. Take some gummy worms from Walmart, rip off a piece maybe 1/4" long. Rig the leech then slide that gummy worms on the hook?
  4. No doubt!!!! That's alot of training and SKILL!
  5. Kinda funny you mentioned that. My buddy fishes alot of local tourneys including the walleye masters in wabigoon. He's the one that put me on 6"-8" livebait and I was honestly shocked how awesome it works
  6. My friend just had one built (same dimensions) 2 years back and it was $18,000 all together. She was able to save by hiring a friend that was a carpenter though I think g mechs #s are pretty spot on
  7. Lol, this was the first vid I watched this am Amazing! Not often will you land back to back 28"ers!!!! The border talk was funny too ???
  8. No worries, but I don't understand what your point is? Sorry. Shouldn't that be the goal of every landfill?
  9. No worries, but I don't understand what your point is? Sorry. Im not on the Rez currently, im in emo.
  10. Should have seen when I was in grande prairie (during stable oil production) I had a 3 bedroom appartment for $2200, childcare for 2 boys cost me $1700/month lol Unreal. But it is what it is
  11. I pay $550 for a 4 bedroom lol I feel for y'all in that area But it's changing quick with the gold mine 30km away, prices to buy jumped alot. Im Having a house built now, be ready in July. A 6 bedroom is only costing us $170,000. But it's on Rez land so that's the downside, we'll never actually own the land. Prices here almost tripled as soon as the mine came in
  12. Yeah, I know alot of people that will keep them on the deep, colder lakes
  13. Bass is way better than crappie lol (joking) Very hard to find crappie from shore though I've eaten 2 bass in my life, no thanks ill pass
  14. If ya pass through kenora let me know if ya wanna do lunch or a quick fish! I can meet ya there, only a 2 hour drive for me
  15. Man, and here I thought it was a nuisance I can only put out 4 bags of garbage per week, and the landfill is only open 3 days per week. Guess I got it pretty good Oh, our landfill is free When I was in grande prairie, recycling was big business. You got paid to recycle. Anything recyclable was worth money, you just had to bring it in.
  16. We have a little booth set up on the US side you have to go in and call customs and pass along all your info If you set foot on US land, at least here, prepare to have guns drawn on you very quickly Our river is so narrow though, it's a big immigration area and lotsa drug smuggling so it's def a good thing they have strong border presence
