Slop fishing with frogs and some others
mr blizzard replied to kickingfrog's topic in General Discussion
Nice day out for you, miss those bass -
Rick in situations like this they have often shown to be very slow in advising the public of what is going on, not every time but many, obviously you are concerned for your loved ones and their well being, take Big Cliffs advice, if this happened in the GTA for example things would be different

Rick like Ketchenany said enjoy a great family is the best gift in the world, I wish my son would feel the same way To get together and have some laughs and good food has to be awesome Start saving for a shoe fund u will be walking down the aisle many times, but cherish all the moments before then, they are irreplacable and priceless We are very happy for u

what do you carry for first aid / survival / etc
mr blizzard replied to 2 tone z71's topic in General Discussion
So true some people in the rest of the country may not understand once u leave our boat ramp it could be multiple hours before u see ANYTHING else, no cottages or towns around the bend, last year the coast guard honestly had to ask a boater what direction to go to go for a call for assistance, they were in a zodiac, I would go with the St Bernard and rum -
thanks brother its been a long road to recovery but u just gave me the inspiration to carry on, coke 0 double oval china plates and a bag of ice coming your way tommorow, for all the other members on this board,,,,YOU do not have to google anything JUST ask Dave, trust me he is one heck of a guy, I was gunna say another word but I did not know if Aplumma was watching lol

Lake Manitou (Manitoulin Island) suggestions
mr blizzard replied to huzzsaba's topic in General Discussion
Huzzsaba , Tonyb nailed it, when growing up with most of my moms family still in Sudbury we made many trips to the lake when I lived in Ontario, rarely disappointed, great lake to fish on, beautiful area , and if u have a chance talk to the manager at the airport, Gore Bay, if u take him a coffee he may just may let u use the farm lane to get down to the water, just make sure u close the gate behind u so the cows dont get out, but ask first, there have been known to be the odd big bass there if your patient, BUT go for the trout first -
Dave looks great you know if the rib muscles were better and I still wasnt doing physio I would be out there like a dirty shirt, still might be able to do some light stuff for you soon
