Nice report Rick! I was hoping to see fish...lol

So here's what I decided to start this weekend.. I wanted to dive into this in April but the boat was in lock down in a barn.. I just got her out this weekend. The floors were soft the last 2 years so i milked it as long as possible.. Well I have to admit im in it up to my eyes..Its an 18 foot with 2 live wells and a walk thru window. The floor is so bad the only thing keeping me from falling thru is the carpet. The passenger console came right off, the screws holding it to the floor came right out effortlessly... All i had to do was drill out the side rivets and lift it out..Now the drivers side is where I need the advice..Its just a bad and rotten as the other side. My question is, is there any way to take that section of floor out without disconnecting all the cables, steering and wiring? Can it just be lifted a little to drill out the old rivets and slide new plywood under, or is this a major project now including ripping all that apart too? Also what about that monstrosity of a fuel tank.. I dont use it as its part full of water. I have never used it in the 3 years I have owned this boat.i want to get it out of there as there seems to be a way for water to get in it. If I drill out all the rivets that hold those 5 inch aluminum strips will that mess up the structural integrity of the vessel? Ill be replacing everything with aluminum rivets and stainless hardware. I will also be using 3/4 inch fur plywood coated with resin all over including the cuts. Is there any more advice you all want to lend? How about a hand? lol all the beer you can drink (after) and some awesome fishing on the Trent River! Edited to add that ill be using marine grade vinyl flooring when its all done..

Walleye spawning on the Grand River in South Dakota.. Very cool way tp spend 10 minutes..
-
So why are they all burnt? Do they just burn them when they cant get them off the ice in time? If that crap keeps up they wont allow huts out on the ice much longer..

Lakes across Canada face being turned into mine dump sites

this statement got me fired right up...... "This is a precedent-setting decision by the federal government to start using fish-bearing habitat as a waste management area," Bourquin said. "It's totally bizarre for the federal government to come here and say that this Y-shaped valley up here is no longer a fish habitat, it's no longer sacred headwaters, it's just a waste dump site." -
This has been going on for 7 years now in some places..Now they want to ruin prime fishing waters for tailing dump sites..Harper is perfectly ok with this crap..When will they stop? When we dont have any fresh water left.. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/lakes-across-canada-face-being-turned-into-mine-dump-sites-1.733972 Lakes proposed for use as mine tailings ponds: Since the introduction of Schedule Two of mining effluent regulations under the Fisheries Act, in 2002, 16 lakes have been proposed for reclassification as tailings dumps. Four of the 16 are already being used as dumps — all in Newfoundland. Two of those are at the Duck Pond Mine and the other two are older mines due to be brought under Schedule Two retroactively. Only one of the 16 — Kemess North in B.C. — has been turned down. Eight are to be decided in the coming year. B.C.: Kemess North - Duncan Lake - REJECTED. Kutcho Creek - Andrea Creek. Ruby Creek - Ruby Creek watershed. Prosperity - Fish Lake. Red Chris. Mount Milligan. Manitoba: Bucko Lake. Newfoundland and Labrador: Duck Pond Mine - Trout Pond and Gill's Brook. Carol Mine - Wabush Lake. Wabush Mine - Flora Lake. Long Harbour - Sandy Pond. Northwest Territories: Winter Lake. Nunavut: Doris North Project - Tail Lake. Meadowbank - Second Portage Lake. High Lake.

-
Hey if Stone comes back tonight then so be it..All i was saying is Suban should be out as long as Stone.. Its great cause I dislike the Sens and I hate the sideways crapper seats.. I hope Chris Neil comes out Head hunting, ya know just to make it interesting..Cant wait to hear the whiner habs fans after tonight's game..

Near Hamilton? Don't know of any that stay open..If you don't mind a 2 hour drive Coles Point Resort allows off season camping..You have a hydro meter on your lot that you pay your own hydro. so winter camping is int an issue.. http://www.colespoint.ca/en/ check it out and give Scott a call..He has open lots this spring that wont last long..Trent and Crow rivers intersect fishing doesnt get any better
-
Man all these guys that are saying take the skirt off and quit whining. Brutal..The dudes wrist is fractured in friggin game 1..He cant hardly grasp the hockey stick..I dont care what team or name is oh nis jersey, thats nasty and Suban should be out just as long as Stone is.. Plain and simple.. There is no excuse for a 2 hand slash any time..

Question for the Hyunadi and KIA drivers launching boats

Well sorry it took so long but here she is..It really has been an amazing CUV .. We did a 800 km trip last weekend and spend a whopping 60 bucks on gas.. Thebig red Ram would have cost $150.00 so its a nice change.. -
Went pike fishing last weekend up on the Trent River..Ill be back again this weekend..Im a Leaf fan and ill be routing for the sens..After that I honestly dont care..Bring on the toothy critters...Walleye next up in zone 17..Cant friggin wait!

Shanny on tsn now

I dont mind the Leafs not being in the playoffs it cuts into my fishing time in a big way..I do however like that they are guaranteed a top 5 draft pick..So they can either move up to first with the lotto or drop down to 5th..Right now they get the 4th pick..If a team behind them wins the lottery we drop down to 5th.. The 4th pick will most likely be Strome..The kid out scored McDavid this year for Erie. Mind you McDavid had 3 weeks off with a broken hand.. Cant wait for April 18th to find out who the NHL gives the pick to..Lets face there is no actual lottery. I heard that if Pittsburgh looses their last game not only are they out but fall into a lottery position..Id puke of they some how win and get McDavid..
-
Wow did anyone see that Rangers game? What a great game and an even better comeback..
-
Just got home..Had dinner at moms..The Sens Leafs rivalry is alive and well at moms house thats for sure...lol .. I ended this night with one comment..The hamburglar was topped with Holland-Daze...Other wise a Great game! Now all the Sens can do is win their last 4 games and hope Boston Pittsburgh or Detroit loose most of them..
