  1. Well..... time to go see if the boat launch is usable! Another happy customer on his way. Hope he makes it to Montreal with the weather of today! Left at 12:30, should be 2/3rds there I HOPE!
  2. Read Bly's link Harry...takes the Bull out of the email story.
  3. Ah...they'll bend out of the way..don't ask how I know..right Lew!
  4. Don't have to go far to find a Snowbear dealer here! LOL What are they Bernie... $45k
  5. Thursday and Friday are looking good for Picton! I'm hoping the launch isn't frozen in up here for another shot at Muskie!
  6. If you do it...just be sure you have about an inch of clearance on each side between guides and boat freeboard. Lund had mine tight when they shipped it and it burnt the paint off delivering it to Temagami.
  7. LOL Cliff... do it all you want.. it keeps Leah's Godfather in $'s !
  8. Add 7" of snow...and yah ain't goin anywhere in that golf cart.
  9. You think you're gonna have fun... my guy from Montreal will have the airplane fuselage on a (high center of gravity) trailer tomorrow...all the way to Montreal I HOPE ! Wave if you see him in your travels.. lol
  10. Applies on Lake Temagami now. Live or dead bait must be less than 5.1 inches.
  11. And if you really want one...check the classifieds. I have a map create set and a reader for sale there!
  12. I couldn't handle the pre safe ice and post safe ice periods Paul, it would drive me nuts. This guy using the canoe for safety lives there all year long. As matter of fact..the guy I bought off lived there with his wife and small kid year round for about 4 years.
  13. Thanks Bud ! Between this one and the other one you posted.... saves me a trip across the pond! I've seen it all now! LOL
  14. I can apparently get to my island on Temagami....if I strap long boards to my feet ! Year round neighbour is getting to his by sliding a canoe beside him for safety.
  15. Thanks again Drew! and you did get her number for the guys all heading that way now correct?
  16. No they're not! Lake Temagami also has the 5.1 inch limit now..and I bet there's more in there.
  17. Hey Cliff... have you been told today? ...ah of course you have..I'm sure Bly took care of that for me!
  18. A 30 year old springbok car topper don't leak like that... after being pounded on Huron for over three decades! Can't believe for the minimal work required to reset a row of rivets that they're willing to lose thousands in business over it. All leakers being in one row suggest nothing but poorly trained worker / equipment malfunction / or general lack of regard for ones work.
  19. Pete... are all the rivets that are leaking easily accessible on the inside? If so..If Tracker won't stand up and honour their warrantee on their "great" boats...then bring it up to me and the two of us can fix it. I'll make the same offer I have to others.... my time x shop rate = a donation to the cancer society by you.
  20. There is a change...they've put it in print and made it "legal". Before..technically you were beyond your daily possession limits by retaining them in your livewell and trading out fish as the day went on...with say 30 fish "possessed" thru the day. Now you're good as gold as long as you never have more than 5 in there at one time..even if you've "possessed" 200 for the day. Next time around...maybe they'll include driving the boat thru the park to the weigh in..."technically" illegally transporting fish over land. They should have covered that one too, so all the scuttlebutt is put to rest for good. Note... I have no issues with any of the above. It's no different IMHO with the guy that catches and throws back 30 trout a day. The bass have a better chance of survival than any of the mentioned fish do..in a livewell.
  21. I also note that every winter outfitter / ice hut operators worst nightmare is now official as well. You can only fish Lake Trout for one month in the winter in all of zone 11.. with the exception of 11 lakes (only one of I've ever heard of ). Season is Feb 15th to 3rd Sunday in March. This reg use to only apply to Lake Temagami. Now it's the entire region from South of Nipissing (Northern Algonquin park boundry) all the way up to New Liskeard.
  22. Main thing I've noticed so far is the bass tourney guys are finally off the hook for the "culling" debate.
