  1. I just gotta kick the axle stands out from under the trailer and I'm off.... ...just this issue of 32 inches of ice where I'm goin ! Not sure that 2HP auger I bought is gonna help me there....
  2. Yep... she already snitched on me for that pic.. so I'm good! LOL LundGuy.. she hooked the boarding ladder!
  3. I always say... It's better to look at this... ..than this... ANY day ! and she does VERY well on her own.

  6. ..and yes.. it's running Slowpoke! lol Fish for what ever bites and have the holders/equipment to pretty much cover it all. Figure I'll have this one for the rest of my years...
  7. Thanks Bud! Be sure to add a bit of water once in awhile okay !
  8. 51 days....... and counting down.... to 5 months of fishing Lake Temagami. ... and Dano and I are reserved for Sept 29/30/Oct1/2 with Thorpe. ..oh and Gerritt.. have you got your cottage booked at Merland yet for November?
  9. Never a patch of sand around when you need one....
  10. DANG !! 2 more months....
  11. Well unlike Spookd .. I use 30lb PPro on all my rigger rods and a rod length of mono as the leader/shock absorber tied to a high quality swivel. Got tired of mono breaking when trying to pop the line out of the riggers. The Power Pro has seemed to work well. We've only had one KNOWN fish on that got off... and that was a monster that Jim Krech (owner of Dad's in Temagami) horsed big time from the depths. Redeeming bonus for him was when the big guy got off a smaller eater was trailing and picked up the spoon! I flat line in the spring with spoons and Rapala TD-11's. 95% of downrigging is done with spoons. Last years best producers were Len Thompson's big one in yellow/red 5 of diamonds and Linquest Brothers Cisco in Perch Pattern. Have every colour Linquest makes to try this year, as well as some new Ken's Custom flutter spoons from California and a big box of spoons I picked up off ebay (Pro King/Dreamweaver and many others).
  12. I think there's a real job for Terry out there after all......
  13. Gee Slowpoke... sure glad I saved that picture when I did...
  14. You only have to pay $600 to be on their Prostaff.. gets you two rods ( $300) and a couple shirts and caps! Great deal to pay double and be bound to promote their product.
  15. I thought you were a fisherman and now you're posing as a Doctor !
  16. Did you not have a second set of keys for your new Lund Shawn? I have two complete sets of keys for motor/kicker/glove box/locker storage/etc. One set in boat and one set stashed elsewhere.
  17. Guess you couldn't get your car into position eh....
  18. Honest officer... it's just fish batter....
  19. I think he made it... he's fishing off the end beside the lighthouse ! lol Nope.. minute later and they're leaving! Someone forgot to set the clock ahead an hour tooo.
  20. Love how they talk up the peace and tranquility... then throw a jet drive motor at it ! I can see the Bunk reports now...
  21. I see enough daylight between the top of your current receiver "socket" and the bumper/frame to weld a 2" x 2" tube to be the "socket" for your BBQ and still allow you to install a hitch insert in the original socket. May need to get an extension (lowers your load cap by 1/2) or make up a solid ClassIV insert that's longer than a normal one to make some trailer hitch clearance from the BBQ tube... but doable !
  22. Stacking these reports up today bud! Some nice lakers there and another nice day out, so it appeared!
  23. Another NICE report Tom.... keep them coming !!
  24. Lets just clarify that I wasn't questioning Snags fish weight.... was only making fun of the weight calculator!!!!! And HD you are correct a Temagami back lake..flyin/hike in only with very little forage. And Dawg... may have been a fish needing a meal... but took 5 follows to get this guy to take the bait. Maybe he was just shy on the energy needed to open and close his mouth.
