Just a bump and reminder for everyone. I know there isnt much ice, lets make the best of it for winternet sakes. Soft water fishing is included with a date stamp on the photo(due to lack of ice this year) Post it if you have a pic(s) , if not lets just have a good laugh! My little ones will review the pics this weekend and a list will be made, good luck to all that has entered a pic. Contest closing date will be March 15/2012, so have them posted by that date. Thanks for the replies guys, Im sure in a week I will get a call with the bad news. Haha, I dont need a doc to tell me how I feel. Just to tell me how severe it is and how will it effect me in a long term perspective. I have had issues with my back,a mild agrivating pain for many years. Now all of a sudden every bloody joint hurts like heck(putting it mildy). Now I know for a fact that stress(esp extreme stress) can flare up a dormant issue. Today I went for a full scan in which was totally uncomfortable but I had no choice in the matter. After that I called into work and took the day off, i was of no use at all. At this point it was almost noon and decided I needed to excercise the areas that hurt the most. My legs and feet, so I went for a drive and short walks. My hands , wrists and esp my shoulders were killing me so the best way as I was told is to warm them up by excercising and so i did. A new solstace 4000, an old rod and a few new lures to join me. And it worked Not 100% but it did Who said fishing wasnt theraputic, 0 for 2(trout) today but who cares. Im back in the game, just a little slower this round in body that is

So far Ron is in lead and fishing 24/7 has added a photo for my young ones to view very soon. I know there isnt much ice around the southern parts but in lieu of it, I may be able to add soft water fishing only if the picture is time stamped. I will have to ask the judges about that. Just trying to make things fair for all. Come on hard water

If you do, I sure would like to know what im in for Long term perspective Is it manageable, tolerable, etc etc,,,,,,,,, This carp hurts like a bugger everyday Your experiences and responses would be greatly appreciated Thanks a ton V

Muskie Mike, I am afraid not. As roy has mentioned there is little ice and once it it develops so will this thread. Last year was a blast and I am only doing this out of my own heart, a thank you to all OFC members. Also to keep winternet more interesting with a smile / many laughs here on OFC, last year was a blast. Here is one I can add, but it doesnt count at all. The funny thing about this is the scent I put on my bait attracted the dog. A couple of drops ended up on the ice.

Its been long over due for myself to go fishing, I didnt care where as long as I was fishing somewhere. I pondered on where to go and thought to myself, as well asked my girls if they wanted to go on a road trip. A definite yes was hailed out of their mouths . Well, I thought for a while where I have not fished before. hmmmmm,,,,,,,, QUEBEC So thats where we ended up alright . The trip up was a little hairy on the 401 on the way up, every where i looked there was a truck or a vehicle in the ditch wether it was east or west bound around the napene area, west bound was practicly shut down. We plowed through with only one close call, thank god. We finally made it to the hotel room and I pmed our good friend leechman, shortly after cleaning out my truck doesnt he pop by for a visit The next morning bright and early we were off on our way, yes there was a 1/2 delay that was my fault by all means . Sorry Jacques, please forgive me for that anyhow, we were off to a local lake, the sun was shinning and there was fresh snow on the lake. We were greated by a friendly dog in which my girls were occupied with for most of the day Paul had punched holes all over and we had all the best of the best out to attract these fish, nothing came by to tug our lines at all. Ohh well it happens from time to time. All in all, we had a blast fishing, a little sight seeing was wonderfull, the scenery was fantastic. Thank you my friend, we have enjoyed our time in quebec, that will not be forgotten. Oh yes before I forget, another one of leechmans creations was gifted to me and now I need to learn how to ply the game Last night I noticed he etched my name in it On to the pics

So I sit here now renting out a place including interent and all. I have noticed that their wifi connection is unsecured. Should I be concerned? Are they they seeing what i am typing? I am growing a slight distrust, the longer I am here! After what I have gone through lately , you are darn right I check and double check. Every thing is to a tee, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, something is not right at all. Call it a hunch, instinct or what ever. Jeeze I dont even haver paper work or proper receicts from them at all, but in lieu of it, ive got signed notes for rent paid Im curious if they are registered with the renters assoc Just my little rant for today, sorry guys.
