Im at the point where I may have to winterize my boat.The problem im faced with is this! The Cam gear is shot,in which I cant run the coolant threw the whole system like I normally do, to remove all the water. With the lever in forward or reverse its too hard to turn the prop,obviously! Now for my question With the lever in neutral,will turning the prop spin the pick up waterpump at all in the stern? Or is there a proper proceedure to do this, without turning the engine over! FYI I have a 140 mercruiser (3 liter gm)In board,merc stern drive Thanks in advance V

That really sucks Gerrit!Happened to me as well except for the second attempt I poopy(yes poopy trap ) trapped it! But my other car at the same time had the window smashed! They must of known I owned both!

Correct me if im wrong!You are right but from what I remember, the fuel tank/line has to be disconected from the motor while hunting!Before and aft/its ok!I dont hunt out of a boat and its been a while!I enjoy a walk threw the forest on a cool morning in the fall to early winter!

Heres one for ya from last monday am at a lk O peir!In 2 minutes I collected a garbage bag full of garbage that was left there.This was at 5 am!At the same time a father and son were fishing and had there dog with them!I collected some of their carp as well!A few hours later I noticed a fish, laying in the grass!A male!At first I thought it was a female,I looked again,Then I seen the belly slit open,male sacs sticking out!Father and son were gone at this point! SOOOOOO!!!!! Anyone here have a dog named Abbey?With a long leash that unties itself?Perhaps the owner of the dog knows who left this fish to rot away,because of a mistakin identity(gender)! As for snagging etc,I havent fished for salmon in the credit for a long time(I wonder why?),my expereince as mentioned above wasnt the credit at all!But not far from there! Clean up after yourselve,Im sure a swan/goose will appreciate it!Thats for another day!
