  1. I don't want to step on any toes here but I always wanted a mount of a paddlefish. Went to school as a fisheries biologist in a different life and now I decided to try for one. Found out the Missouri River system holds the most paddlefish and Missouri or N Dakota were the places to go. Missouri is closer to me so I keyed in on it. Found a guide on the Truman Ressivoir and caught my dream fish. They are plankton eaters so trolling treble hooks was the common method. The fight was only fair for such a big fish and the flesh is pretty strong for me, I'm used to walleye. I'm really happy I caught one.
  2. Fry up the livers in butter for a real taste treat.
  3. Nice fish Matty, I'm surprise you got it on a lure. They're called freshwater whales because they have baleen and just filter feed. Look down the throat and it will look like the fishes gills but it's the bal;een they use to feed on plankton. No teeth but still cute like Probert.
  4. None in the Great Lakes. They ply the large southern rivers. The Mississippi, Missouri and Ohio river systems. There was a paddlefish recently caught in an Indiana river not known to support them. They are a great fish
  5. As a last resort buy the liquid truck bed liner and cover the outside of the boat with it. It will add weight to the boat but should seal every leak.
  6. Would your insureance be able to cover this situation? wy_boat_launch.doc wy_boat_launch2.doc

  9. Lungelarry, That's a beautiful fish. Where did you get it? Is it over 100lbs?. I got mine in Truman Res. it was only 40lbs a lot smaller than yours.
  10. Thanks everyone of you. I just wish I had a dish to get the 3rd game.
