Went out in the new boat today it was only a 45 min trip because I had the wife and my boy Kaleb with me .With 30k west winds Long point bay was a little angry but the family toughed it out so I could atleast get a quick ride in we had 3-4' waves and the new Lund handled it no problem (if ya have ever fished the bay you know what 3-4'ers are like really bad chop)we ended up doing 39.9mph on the HDS7 and had lots of throttle left was really impressed I didn't think it would be that peppy with a 90hp on it anyways here's your boat porn Merc I covered the bow numbers because this pic is on Facebook as my profile pic

The spinnerbaits all caught fish and the wake baits are awesome caught bass and pike on them the swim baits I didn't give them a real good go yet but they will get used more this year.Oh and both frogs were thrashed from lots of bass and a few pike and I have bought more since.

Are you certain your neo's leaked or were you just sweating real bad I had 3.5mm neo's and anything above 0 and I would be soaked by the end of the day .

I take the spool off and just soak it although I have stopped using flouro main line and use braid with a flouro leader I have braid on all my reels now .

went through my stuff last night and pitched a bunch of old stuff here's what made the cut for this year still need some more bass stuff but I got lot's of time . Nice tackle box Wayne LOL

You soak the line after it's on the reel it reduces the memory from the manufacturers spool and the line doesn't fall off the spool as bad works the same for flouro or mono although it's less evident on mono it does help prevent tangles with new line .

They ship with a oil to prevent corrosion but I don't know how long that would last I would take it to get looked at before handing over the $$$ might cost a few bucks but it's better than having a brand new 140hp anchor
