lol! well ive snagged them in the rapids before with a big spoon.... almost got caught so needless to say i fish for them properly now. and i've heard about the marshmellow thing for steelhead but does it really work for salmon? and im gunna try a spawn sac with a slip sinker and see if that works. JP

oh nice!..... with what?.... rapala? you think a shad rap rs in perch would work good?.... it dives a little deep though, im a little concerned about snags.... oh well if you wanna play you gotta pay!

lol, i've never heard of any of that tackle...... explain?
-
lol well, what kind of spoons?....... and what the heck are skein chunks and how do you fish with them and rig them? (i think some guy yesterday was usin it? and got a nice salmon)
-
hey folks, heres my story: I went fishing a couple days in a row including last night. i watched a few people bring in some nice salmon (one was brought in on a spoon of some sort and i dont know the rest). one guy brought in a very nice walleye on a rapala (he was hoggin all the fish! lol). anyhow i was just wondering whats working for you shore fisherman in sault ste. marie on the st. mary's river, for 'eyes and salmon? i had my cell on me too, shoulda took a pic of that beautiful walleye. i've also tried a 2/5oz little cleo, a spawn sac with a hildabrant spinner, plain spawn sack and hook, glow in the dark and pink/white twister tails. JP

well i was tryin to catch a steelhead a few mins. ago with everything i had. lol i think i seen you out there in ur boat too TDunn. couple guys caught salmon and one guy got a VERY nice walleye (about 4lbs) and big salmon just when all the sunlight went bye bye.
-
ya, true. these guys got some good points.
-
lol, well if it dont rain tomorrow evening, i'll be out there!
-
ya even up here in SSM its slow...... there is the seldom salmon caught but i havent seen one come outta the rapids yet. just below the rapids and powerhouse is where their being caught.
-
pacific salmon up next eh? when you think the kings are gunna be in? by the way nice fish!
-
its slow for all of the salmon really...... there should be alot more than the odd one here and there. i didnt even catch an 'eye today..... but i lost all my crappy jigs, lol.
-
well i was out fishing all around the locks today and saw nothing but a freshwater drum. well.... i saw a dead steelhead and a salmon that was still very silver with nice spots.
-
Actually no i don't, LMAO! suprisingly it has plenty of torque! im a heavy 220lbs rider (though you'd never really know it if u seen me) and there is plenty of power to get up some pretty steep hills. in second gear seems to hit the powerband. but in any gear (has 4 gears) i can drift around my schools gravel track no problem! im very pleased with its performance! though it should sit a little higher for where i go.
-
josh? lol!.... Kinger: i've caught smallies there but never a largemouth, i would really like to get into them though.... im missin lake scugog down south. Gavin: Pine island by st. joe's island right? i may be going there for the labour day weekend. some family was there earlier this month and did very well with smallies, pike and pickeral, left, right and center! a damn big smallie that my cousin took a swim for too lol it musta been about 5lbs. they fished with whatever they had and lucky for me i got some nice live toads
-
well. yes it is a 4 stroke and i do not have a low oil indicater or switch. it doesnt burn or leak oil and i did check the level and its all good. thanks for the info. but what most people dont understand is that these crappy chinese outfits is that their deffinately not like normal quads. lol mine is a knock off of the old honda 200cc im pretty sure its late 80's - early 90's but my engine was made brand new in 2005. oh and the engine manufacturer is lifan, apparently people are buying these engines and putting them in their honda xr frames. i tell ya what, for what i put that quad through, its held up extremely well!
-
where is the closest place to catch largemouth bass around sault ste. marie? i was told chiblow lake.... any place closer?
-
well that deffinately looks real........ and old as the hills! lol

the coil and ignition switch are fine. i bought the cdi 3 months ago. lol THERE IS NO POWER COMMING FROM THE CDI, and the engine turns over, everything works like its supposed to except there is no spark. Jeez people. i suspect its the cdi or stator. the cdi may have burned out because the machines voltage runs at 14 instead of 12, so i should actually get a new voltage regulator.
