well..... the only ground for it really, just goes to the coil and is grounded to the frame there.

yup, the solenoid is fine. the only problem is that theres no power getting to the cdi i think. but i dont know how i could test that with the multimeter

i dont think its that cause when i turn it on everything lights up. and i've texted power comming from the cdi while trying to start it and got a big 0.

well, kill switch is fine, yes neutral to start, gravity fed (no valve), checked filter (new one), gas is very fresh, motor does turn over, yes manual choke and no i dont smell gas. And i dont have a spark whatsoever, so i think it may be my stator or cdi. I just would like to hear what someone else thinks. thanks, JP

great pics man! i've fished scugog a couple times from piers and docks but only managed a few perch and a very angry little 2 1/2 lbs largemouth in the time i was living there but i tell ya if i was still down there and had my boat i'd be out pretty near every weekend. JP

maybe you guys should move on up to good ol' sault ste. marie, theres always lots of salmon to go around. i havent seen a weak run sinse i've been here.

hey, i have recently run into some quad trouble. it was running fine one day and i decided to go for a ride and when i got back i shut it off and a few minutes later went to start it up and drive it into my garage... it didnt start, and i didnt think anything of it. So i wheeled it in and left it there till a few days ago i tried again and got no where. my heads been reeling with possibilities ever since. Now, i tried a new spark plug, with no luck. tested power comming from my cdi and there was none and i cant really figure out if any power is getting to the cdi from the stator or whatever it is inside the engine, which also may be shot.... can anyone help me? oh ya by the way its a 2005 200cc chinese quad, its good enough to have a little fun on, lol. ya, i used to live in southern ontario and i walked the conservation areas all the time, and on weekends at some places they were crowded but i never really got the enjoyment out of some because of how close to roads you were... if i go take a walk in the bush i don't particularly wanna hear vehicles. and dara, you forgot about fort creek lol

ohhhh, so thats how it works eh? hahaha, i can actually say that when im fishing for "poike" i usually do catch a "wall-ice" or 2 and when im fishing for "wall-ice" i catch a nice pike or 2

i bought an orange #4 mepps aglia about a month ago and went out shore fishing for pike and sure enough in about 5 mins. i got a big 7-8 pounder and it faught so hard it actually bent 2 of the hooks on my treble out but it was mighty easy to unhook and every pike after that was hell. lol.

jeez! when are the freakin kings commin to the st. mary's rapids? i need to catch another 20 pounder on my 12lbs mono. lol.
