  1. Telus Mike phones have a setting on them where you can set them to work like walkie talkies and you won't use airtime. Just go through the menu and you will find it. Also a cheap radio shack radio with a magnet mount would work fine for what you want. Unless you spend a lot of money you probably won't get much further than a couple of miles. Good luck. P.S if you are going to buy something try one of the truckstops after you cross the border. eg. T/A truckstops,Pilot Truckstop, Flying J,Loves. All have websites with locations.
  2. Don't forget, large pen style net and bolt cutters for cutting hooks. Also go to any Muskies Canada meeting, you don't have to join to go and you may pick up some great tips. Check their website for a location near you.
  3. I think its about time, now the question is will it be inforced?
  4. When does it blow, when you key up or when you turn it on.
  5. Brian try Peterbilt in London or Freightliner. I am pretty sure you will find them at Peterbilt though, they might be pricey but I believe they carry a lifetime warranty. Good Luck
  6. Has to be Bobby Orr, to bad his career was cut so short. Imagine how many other records he would have broken.
  7. Give me thirty million dollars and I will build them a winning team :thumbsup_
  8. I have to say that was a pretty nice haul there Stoty. That has to be a record one night point stand.
  9. 3M adhesive remover is the best stuff out there. We would use it on our transport trucks when we were changing companies to take the stickers off the doors. you can find it anywhere that carries automotive paints and supplies.
  10. you should also look into using a good quality line eg. power pro braid no less than 65 lbsand a good quality leader. nothing worse than leaving a fish swimming witha lure in its mouth. when you cut the hooks it makes it easier to pull them out backwards. Try and keep the fish in the water for your release. No verticle holds make sure you support thebellie of the fish.good luck I know its a lot to take in but you and the fish will be happier in the long run. Good luck
  11. Robinwood where do you live I would be glad to help you. I am in the niagara area. It looks like the bearing is siezed on the axle shaft. You will need some heat or a puller or both ,they can also be cut off with a torch by someone with a little talent. Then just pound the old races out of the hub. Pound in some new ones pack your bearings and your of to the races. A set of bearing buddies are a great investment and then you can grease them on a regular basis.
  12. I have to agree with Mistyriver, I fish with Dax a lot and there isn't anyone out there that appreciates our fisheries than him. I also think you did the right thing..
  13. Nice to meet up with you also Lew seen many pics but haven't had the chance to meet. Congrates to the perry winkle lure winner P.T . Way to go Dax.
  14. Can't beet the green one's, if you have a good dealer they stand behind their products. The dealer I had would come to your house to repair (if needed) or replace it with a loaner if he couldn't fix it there. What you pay up front you save in the long run..
  15. Can you purchase one of those portable garages people put their cars in and put your boat in it. Out of site out of mind..
