I was i parrysound on the weekend. I took a kid fishing that has only ever caught sunfish and perch. I asked him how many fish he wanted to catch, He smiled and said he' be happy with 5...ok off we go and find a shoal. 40 minutes later the boy has landed 5 of the biggest lakers he's ever seen....the smile on his face was from ear to ear.....Thats what fishing is all about. Cross the bay to haybay and you will be into a lot of pike. Rp

Hey the ford Rangers are now going for 12,659 thats 4000 off from last friday when i was going to buy one. its like 275 per month to buy......my truck broke down two weeks ago, if i was unable to fix the rearend i was going to buy it for the 16,ooo. Now i just shake my head, my trucks fixed...but it has 340 km ...but still runs, Im tempted do go in and buy but i like the noooooooooooooooooo payments on this truck. looks like i will drive it into the ground and then buy one.......

Hey Nice Report... but one you may have failed to notice... My Little lass did the same thing, she chummed for me as i fished.......man did i catch a ton of fish with her chumming. Just think how many you might have caught? There's nothing like watching the Rod bounce and saying to the chummer......babe's you have a fish....What was that?... you want me to get that for you?...(long pause) are you sure? LOL Still killing myself laughing over that one!!!!!

These lures are GARBAGE!!!!!!! Know buddy should own one!!!! But i'm willing to buy any you may have kicking around!!!!... Just to help you out! But on a Real note..................I use them for ice fishing and i can say without a lie.......i can out fish you 10 to 1 with a chubby darter......and there are guys on this board that can back up that statement! On lakers they slay!...perch they murder and whites....have not try'ed yet We use to use williams and tube jiggs to catch lakes now its just darters. So go out to the garage and look in your box and pm ...I'll buy all your Chubby Darters....just let me know.

Thats a Great little motor!! I ran one like that for years, Make sure you take the fuel lines off and check for hard varnish..ie old gas, nothing worse that little bits of varnish breaking away during the summer and clogging up the fuel pump and jets on the carb.

I'm not ready yet!!!!! One more kick at the can for lakers befor closing, then i'll put her away, little bit of seafoam and run for two minutes......then she sleeps for the summer.

I have a Moto4 250 cc its an 89 two wheel drive. if your going for the Atv just make sure you get a good set of chains for the tires, i used mine on simcoe this weekend, and the last two weekends, with all the snow on the lake right now its a slow go but it beats walking,I pulled my flip and my little girl out, We did mangage to bog down in the slush a few times but the chains grab and your out. I picked up the qaud because the last few years we have had very little snow on the ice and it burnt off my runners, now i have the quad and its a winter wonder land. Sleds are faster to get to the fishing grounds but i love the quad for all the gear i can load on it. You can see a pic of my quad on the last clamp-it post for simcoe. Hope this helps

I was going to go Sunday for the day but then the kids hockey has now pushed that aside, might go to gilford in the morning for perch but Is there to much snow for the Quad? barrie is getting hit with flurrys and there was already to much snow last weekend. I can only fish from 7 till 1130 as i have to be back for a hockey game at 2. in miss. Any body know how much snow is on the lake as of right now ? Tx Rp

Well as i expected Clamp-it joined me and my little one for some fishing On simcoe for perch,with the cold snap comming in i didnt expect to catch much maybe 60-10 perch for the day.... well was i wrong, we managed only 18 perch the hole day. we put 6k on the Quad( thank the lord for the machine) we started at 31 ft and caught a few then moved to 28 and caught a few more but that was it...Lock jaw!!!! I'll give Clamp-it credit he satyed out in the cold all day(I had lo look after my little girl in the nice warm flip up) No picks but a fun day.

Well i'm going to take my little girl out for some perch, i was thinking lakers and whites but i dont think with the cold from comming that there will be to much caught, so perch it is and she will be happy pulling them in. I'm going to take the qaud, there is no way i'm pulling my flip in thats snow again, hhm have to putthe chains on the quad.

Well i have an 89 atv and my insurance company will not insure it,as its over ten year old, i have plates but no insurance, And the kicker is i only use it 2 or 3 times a year. i have tried to find insurance but i cant justify $400.00 bucks when i only use it for icefishing in march. Also they wont insure you if you intend to drive it on the ice........lol i laughed at that one!

WELL I'm in the mood for a new truck as well. I have a Dodge Dakota 2001 Quade cab v6 with a stick, I'm at 320 and still going stronge, i have only replaced the water pump and ti-rods, I would buy another one in a heart beat, its been a great tuck,

I have the strike master 2 hrs...8 inch, its been runnin for 3 years now and purrs like a kitten, you get 63 holes per tank at 10-15 inches. I have a friend that has the jiffy 10 inch, he loves it and so do i, it is so funny to see him put his own foot down the hole, thats the only problem with a ten inch hole, i have 12 inch boot and my leg has gone down the 10 inch hole a few times. Ok so i forgot to put a batch of wine together, now its to late to have it ready for x-mas, with friends comming from the rock and staying over the holidays i need to find a bottle your own or a store that has a few batches that people walked away from and are for sale. Does anyone know of a Bootle your own or a freind that has a batch ready that there not going to use? I know there use to be a bottle and cork at the Weston Lcbo but i cant find out any info on the net. And if there is any left after my company leaves it will be used on the ice ...just to toast the first fish of the year or the biggest catch of the day or if the suns out..... Thanks Rp

LOL i have been sitting here with Baited Breath just waiting for someone to call it the Rip off Shack that it is!!!! Last years i stopped in to grab a scoop of minnows, i think the charge was 5 or 7 a scoop, well i dont have bait so i ask for a scoop and the Idoit reaches for a lid from a spray can and proceds to get a scoop of minnows...........I looked at him like a deer in the headlights of a transport going down the highway....I could not believe my eyes....The kids thought that i was that stupid to buy them and then wonder'd why i left calling him an Idiot. Sale or no sale its the best place to be violated in the province. But thats just my opinion Rp
