Dont forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Most important thing of all!!!! Dont put your boots or socks on untill you get to the Lake !!!! You can have the warm'est boots on the planet but it you drive for an hour and the heats on OHHHHH baby your feet are sweating. Nothing says love like dry warm feet!!!!!! yes you may walk o bit to get to your hole but a least you started with dry feet instead of damp ones!! And thats my tip for the day!!!! Leave your small change by the door on your way out!!! Rp

A Good buddy and i headed out on the bay for some last day lakers, We started at 8am and had 8 inched of solid hard ice, We managed to catch a bunch of little ones all fish were in the 9-14 inch range. It was good to see the the lake trout are rerpoducing, at times the fish finder was just full of them................sorry no pics......only a flask!! By 3pm there was 3 inches of slush on the ice and 5 inches of hard clear ice, time to fly....tip the flask and say good bye for another year!! All in all a good season...........A little short but, It beats staying home doing the dishes! Let the summer begin

As i remember it, When Chrysler went backrupt in the late 70's, the governmnet made them sell off there boat division and force marine was invented then bought by merc, Good motors easy to work on if your handy, but marine mechanics will not touch them because its very hard to get parts. What size is on the boat?

Hey guys I'm heading up to simcoe in the morning for some perch, anyone care to hook up?

Well i have to recon with Clampet, but i do own 14 ice rods for each typre of fish i hunt for, but i dont use them to reel in the fish, i hand line them, its easy"er and you can feel when you have to back off or pull up quick, for the big fish like pike or lakers i use a wooden jigging stick to set the hook, one lift on the line and the hooks into the back of his head.Look at it this way if you use a reel with line on the spool and you manage to get a fish to bite and you reel in the sucker all the water goes onto the spool, Guess what happens next if its a realy cold day......................line freeze, spool freeze and you just lost a fish..........Been there done that.......but only the shadow knows!!!!!!
