Everbody has a opinion and to each his own so here is my expert scientific comment braid sucks and flourocarbon sucks just as much!!! I have tried both on numerous ocassion and I have always been less than happy with the results, a backlash is a rare when I use mono but when I use braid it seems to happen much more often. I still like good ole Stren or Trilene.

Well said Mike the wife and I made a decision a few years ago to start to travel more and while she certainly does more travel than I I am starting to get the bug more and more, I can`t wait to see the Sistine Chapel,the Vatican and the Pyramids and so much more in a couple of years. Can`t wait to see Richter lake either!!!

nothing wrong with traveling to other countries and certainly no harm in laying on the beach for a week or so!!! In 2013 we are planning a trip that will include Italy,Greece and Egypt there is more to life than fishing!

The wife was recently researching smaller SUV/Crossovers and the Escape and the Dodge Journey made the short list and ultimately she choose the Journey. The Escape is a nice vehicle but with incentives the Journey was a much better buy, we got a fully loaded AWD RT model for a little more than a basic FWD Escape.
