Ive not had much luck on the river so far; but anywhere from lakeshore blvd to lake ontario is open year-round for bows & browns, so ive been going after them at the river mouth at bronte harbour, but got skunked today still
Slow going at Bronte Harbour in Oakville today. Tried jigging across the mouth & swimming a few minnows through there all afternoon, but its all quiet on the western front. Any advice on what to try tomorrow?
I know the ext'd season is done for, but the only luck ive had on bronte is at the harbour and in petropark (between 403/QEW & Rebecca [new st.]) I tossed a few flies north of dundas, but no luck.
My prayers go out to your daughter this evening; she must be very strong indeed- and certainly to her benefit. God bless, and may she stay strong throughout the ordeal.
haha funny vid! thanks for the post! its useful if you can arrange it on extendable trusses and mount them to an old wooden toboggan; so you can cart all your stuff out and just fold it open- no stuff blowing across the ice!
Agreed; 10 amps or higher until at least half charged, then you can just keep topping off on lower amperage for the winter- seems to work best when its at room temperature- as opposed to out in the barn
I got eight, haha brilliant game!
Al-Jazeera had the thrower's face in the bottom corner of the telly broadcasts for days following the incident- what a champ!
Fair enough! haha! I like to do a canoe run from Elora down to Brantford every summer if the water's high enough, but never snuck about in the KW area too much.
Thanks for the replies! The only luck I've had on Bronte (I've only fished Petro) is on outside bend pools and one hit under the railroad bridge. For now, I just hit the pier when I can- but have gotten only a couple wee perch and a sheepshead; did see a man pull a nice big bow outta there in october though (extended season).
