Toronto forward Nazem Kadri will not be further disciplined for his hit on Vancouver forward Daniel Sedin in the Leafs' 6-3 win over the Canucks on Saturday, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.

As Sedin scored the Canucks' third and final goal of the game in the third period, Kadri collided with the Swedish forward and appeared to connect with both Sedin's shoulder and head. Sedin spiralled out after the contact and appeared to hit his head off the ice.

The game unravelled after that with both starting goalies getting game misconducts for participating in a line brawl. A total of 147 penalty minutes were handed out in the third period.

  2.

Maybe I'm wrong and maybe it's just me, but in my opinion tires are one of the most important parts of a car for keeping me and mine safe and I'll ALWAYS buy the best I can get.

I could NEVER understand why anyone would cheap out on something as important as tires.

As I said though, maybe it's just me.

If your lease is just about up and you have to turn the car in, cheap is good. ;)

  3. My wife doesnt ban me from anything....especially icefishing....she begs me to take her!!

Ice shifting is actaully a good thing. Its a sign that the ice is getting thicker and expanding.

I have ice fished simcoe on Dec. 8th before. Lets hope this year is a repeat.

    S.

Yup!! One year we were out on the laker grounds miles out and around lunch a large pressure ridge formed by the shore.

When it let go the hut jumped in the air and a fountain of water shot out of the hole!!!

The outfitter had to drop us off at the ridge and we had to climb over the 20' wall of ice to get back to our vehicles. :)

Those go out quite quickly since they're so thin and non-airtite.

Another thing you need to know about them is to put a fire proof liner on the floor under it and to put 2-3" of sand in the bottom of the stove.

If you don't the bottoms will burn out and start the place on fire. Seen it happen more than once at the lodge I used to guide at.

  5. I've got the same on my boat and it works great, had to drill 6 holes (3/side) in a brand new boat. I feel your pain at drilling into a new boat, it was hard, but the benefits of shade/ dryness kept me on the water longer during the summer.

Remember, measure 17 times, drill once!

Don't forget the 8 other holes for anchors the tension lines clip on to. ;)

  6. I put a bimini on my boat a couple of years ago and ended up using this track (http://www.cabelas.com/product/boating/boat-covers/bimini-tops%7C/pc/104794380/c/104703480/sc/104216580/bimini-top-hardware-slide-track/751575.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fbimini-tops%2F_%2FN-1100622%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104216580) so I could move it all the way back when not in use.

A few small holes are nothing to worry about. I didn't even bother to seal them on my boat. No issues.

  7. Just don't get stupid and put yourself to sleep for good with an unvented source of heat. Anything that burns fuel is not a safe indoor heater. Why I stick with my drafty Frabil ice hut as I know fresh air is getting in while I burn that sunflower!

I leave the front door open. ;)
