Spent the last couple of days catching up after last weekends issues. Had more siding on the trailer than I thought. There was about 7,500#'s worth on that load. Took longer than it should have but the temps warmed up a bunch and the trail was mushy so I could only take 240#'s per run. Reloading the trailer tomorrow with the last of my roofing and another 3,000#'s of siding. That will bring my total for the year after this weekend @ 17,000#'s!!! Hopefully get one more load in next weekend and I'll be done until ice out. Time to ready the boat!!!!!

The melt has stared here this week and some pretty sexy ice was lurking beneath the ice road on my lake. This electric blue ice is sweet!!! We often get ice like this but not a huge section like this. Usually there are small patches here and there.

Yes!!!! I bought my new motor from them in 2013 and they shipped it to Yellowknife and my buddy bought an off lease one this winter and they shipped. Cost was very reasonable @ less than $350.

You could buy this. Sell the current motor and install a nice new one for under your budget. Or even cheaper if you purchase an off lease engine from Bridgeview Marine. Yes, it should have been a 2 minute penalty, nothing more. It was just bad luck that he hit the joint in the glove where there is next to no protection. The joint opens up when gripping the stick making it a vulnerable spot. I believe they just need to call all of these hacks and the players should tone down on the hacking if they know that the slightest violation will land them in the sin bin.

Back in the late 90's I had a visit from an Eastern cougar at my place in Grand Valley. Didn't bother reporting it to anyone.

I wish it crapped out @ the cabin. That way I could unload my siding and then load my sled and sled trailer on the car trailer for the ride home. It bugs me I couldn't get my delivery done. Hopefully the ice and shorelines hold until mid April. Temps are going to be above normal for the next couple of weeks though. I have 3 more loads to get out there.

If you take those regulations literally there is pretty much no where in the North West Territories you can fly one. I am pretty sure there are no areas where there is barren land 5 miles away from any lake (aerodrome).

Had a slight issue with the snowmobile trailer this morning so no materials were moved today. Got a few K's outside of town and had a bearing failure. Nursed the ole trailer back to the house without the wheel falling off though. Was gonna fix up the hub with a little JB weld, but decided to replace it. She's all back together and ready for next weekend now.

The Habs/Sens game was better.
