A good quality regular rivet gun works but it's a bit of a chore. See if you can find one of these to buy locally or rent from a tool rental place. How many do you think you'll need? Pretty sure I have extra at home. I'll have to look though. Brafasco only carries the regular type of pop rivets not the closed end ones.

Removing the rivets is easy. Center punch the flat side in the center and drill out with a 3/16" bit. Replacing can be done with either the same type of rivets and a couple of hammers or with closed end blind pop rivets. Either way use a little 3M or Sikaflex marine adhesive on the rivet before installing. It will never loosen or leak. When I need to replace loose rivets on my boat I use these. I have a 2000 watt Yammie. Great units. Quiet, sips fuel and it's nice and light. If I needed one just for battery charging I would get a 1000. Mine is also used for my popup camper to charge the battery, run the microwave and more importantly my espresso machine and bean grinder!!!

Last time I drove back to Ontario from YK the most expensive gas I found was in Northern Ontario. It was 30-35 cents a litre more than it was in Yellowknife.

Yeah, fill up all of your gas cans down South before you leave!!!! Most of the time prices up there are higher than they are here in Yellowknife!!!!

I had a brand new ball that did that. Was an issue with the ball. Bought a different brand and all was good.

After a big storm on Nipissing we came across someones boat that broke free. I noticed it from about a mile or so away. It was a 20'+ enclosed boat like a Bayliner and just the nose was poking above the surface. I guess there was an air pocket keeping it afloat. Something similar could have happened here with the ultra high water.
