  1. WHEW!!!!!
  2. Could easily stuff the nose and hook the boat at speed. I've been out in plenty of conditions that would scare the crap out of most people. When you are used to bad conditions it is more likely you make better decisions while out there on the water. Have been out on some of the biggest lakes in the country in some pretty small boats when the weather has changed. Spent a night sleeping on a beach with my guests when the winds picked up and blew ice down the lake on 12 foot waves. Easy choice to hunker down for the night. Had other days with similar waves but without the ice and have had no issues in 16-17 foot boats. Just a little slow going is all.
  3. Thorny got a trim!!!! Bet that smarted. https://www.facebook.com/HockeyNightInCanada/videos/1882221608471873/ https://www.bardown.com/kadri-took-a-gigantic-chunk-out-of-thornton-s-beard-after-opening-faceoff-fight-1.959559

  6. I see Matt and his homies are tossing their jerseys on the ice now.
  7. Natasha Staniszewski from Sportcentre left at 10:45AM and got there in time for the overtime. I wonder how many other people got burned by that wreck? At least she got to watch the game on her cell while stuck in line at the border!!! https://www.bardown.com/sportscentre-s-natasha-staniszewski-hilariously-documented-her-traffic-filled-wjc-trek-to-buffalo-1.955513
  8. HOLY MOLY!!!! Are these guys ever fast!!! It's like the video has been sped up!!! 45,000 tickets sold for today's game. Lots of peeps stuck in line at the border.
  9. Leafer's are looking crisp tonight.
  10. Garmin Echomap units on my boat as of last spring. Excellent units and easy to use.
  11. I have Rocky gortex hunting boots. They aren't as high as rubber boots but are higher than hikers. A mid calf design. And they lace up so are adjustable on the calves. Mine are similar in design to these but mine are no longer made as I have had them since the 90's. The ones I have also have more insulation then these but you asked for little insulation and these are the lowest @ 200 grams of thinsulate. http://www.rockyboots.com/rocky-mens-boots/rocky-bearclaw-3d-gore-tex-waterproof-200g-insulated-outdoor-boot/FQ0009237.html?dwvar_FQ0009237_color=20#prefn1=productFeatures&sz=12&start=13&prefv1=20&gclid=Cj0KCQiAyZLSBRDpARIsAH66VQKgOtANm1dmwarrBpQvaIja_iF9sDRGDNGz8QN9nzk5CrPy4bbPYF0aAoEeEALw_wcB&kwid=34592641x15637065787x250866187

  15. I was having vision problems on Christmas. I couldn't see my butt leaving the house!!!!
  16. Had to fix it up Dan.
  17. Decided to buy myself a little Christmas present. Got a bunch of accessories on the way to accompany the little bugger too including a Samsung Tab S2 for visual duty. Will be better than the phone I'm sure. Can't wait to have aerial images of ye olde cabin. ; )
  18. Fizz is the sound they make when you drop them in boiling oil!!!
  19. There are times I like to hang with my buds but I'm a loner most of the time. In the summer it's just me, my ipod and my pooch.
  20. No need to panic y'all. This is coming your way. You're welcome!!!!
  21. I know hey!! But the Leafs suck right Matt?
  22. I'm alone every Christmas morning unless I travel 6,000 kms to be with family. I crawl out of bed late, cook myself a kick donkey brecky and chill on da couch watchin' TEEVEE with a rum in me hand!!!! It really sucks!!! I don't advise it. When I lived back in Mississauga I used to go and spend a few hours drifting for steel on the Credit on Christmas. Early and late with the fam and fishin' in between while the feast was cookin'.
  23. 125 miles North of the Arctic circle.
  24. Or keep your Budweiser Red Light set up and turned on and 5 minutes before puck drop it will remind you that it's about to start and to grab some Buds!!!
