I saw on the news last night that even though the fire has moved away from Mac there are still fires and hot spots in town. They said a house blew up yesterday damaging a bunch of other homes and also showed some buildings on fire in town. It's far from over out there. On a happy note we got a decent amount of rain overnight here in Yellowknife and it's cool and cloudy today.

I know where you can get a nice 30' Duckworth cheap. This was yesterday in Alaska. Someone pulled in front of the driver and he swerved to avoid. The rest is history.

They evacuated several of the oil sands camps today as the fire is heading their way now.

They're probably adding in the forest fire emissions out West. Need to run up the #'s so they can tax a few extra $$$$. -

I purchase insurance from these guys when I go out of country. http://www.medipac.com/home Very reasonable. It costs me about $10 a week. My insurance through work only covers 80% so it's worth the extra $$$. -
There's now an over the counter test available to test for Lyme if you think you have been infected. Could help with the misdiagnosis I keep hearing about. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/news/articles/over-the-counter-lyme-disease-test-now-available-in-canada/67869/

YUP!!! Probably didn't have out of country insurance. My dad was in hospital in Florida in 2014 for a day and a half. The bill was $17,000!!!!! Good thing for insurance. Don't go on vacation without it as you could go broke in a heart beat!!! -

Hopefully I get a good buck for my cabin when I retire. Will need to buy a house in Panama and a good 25-30' center console boat to chase the fishes with. -

We had a water source heat pump when we lived in Grand Valley. It was cheaper to heat and cool that house than the one we moved from in Mississauga and that one was heated with gas. -

I doubt that very much. They are too stupid to realize what they have done. If they had half a brain they would have realized in the first week McSquinty was in office. -

A couple of years ago a fellow was driving off the ferry in Homer AK. He was following his GPS which sent him down the wrong path. He drove down the boat ramp into the Pacific!!!

Brian Braking is generally 60% front 40% rear. Doesn't take much to warp a rotor. Come off the highway and brake to stop at a light but hit a puddle while braking and poof instantly warped rotor. It can happen any time when braking. If you had a temp probe on your rotors you would be amazed how hot they get, even under light braking.

You are correct, what I meant was the use of Glyphosate on wheat as well as other foods is causing these issues including gluten sensitivity and increases in Celiac disease. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2014/09/14/glyphosate-celiac-disease-connection.aspx https://www.geneticliteracyproject.org/2014/03/28/do-genetically-modified-foods-cause-gluten-allergies/ http://sustainablepulse.com/2014/02/19/roundup-linked-global-boom-celiac-disease-gluten-intolerance/#.VzYD9YSDFBd -

Say what you will, since they started with genetically altered wheat I have had issues with my health. I now stay away from wheat products, but occasionally have some during a weak moment. On Wednesday I ate some nice Italian bread, on Thursday I had to take the day off work due to severe cramps and acid reflux. Prior to the 1980's this was not an issue. -
The biggest advantage is you will be able to run all day without drawing them down below that magical 50% threshold, thus extending the overall life of your batteries.

If you routinely draw your batteries below 50% charge you will kill them much faster than if you don't. I also use my TM for slow trolling when jigging up lakers in calm conditions. It's hard on batteries.
