  1. I did my Christmas baking today and just finished after midnight. I couldn't send you all Cinnamon Buns, so I decided to take a photo instead. Pam
  2. Amazing shots of the owl Brandon, and love the nose to nose deer. Well done. Pam
  3. Yup, that's kinda what it looks like in Timmins too. Very nice shots! Pam
  4. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL shots as usual Brandon! Well done. Pam
  5. OOps, almost missed it. Hope it was a great birthday! Pam
  6. Ooooh, Brandon, he's cute but what did you do to him, he doesn't look happy. Pam
  7. Do you want me to find out what kind of cameras we use in the Ontario Puma Foundation? I know they have solar chargers for the batteries. Pam
  8. All this reminds me of a conversation with my life long doctor, who is now retired. He had a good friend who was a spiritual healer. The healer said that about 50% of the people who saw him got better, the other 50% stayed the same, but after 3 months or so, the adrenaline rush of the healing wore off and the people usually got back to where they were when they started. Pam
  9. The Ontario Puma Foundation is already looking into this sighting. I had to talk on the CBC radio last night about the existance of pumas in Ontario and that they are an endangered species on the MNR list. Pam
  10. Hi Everyone: Just to clarify, the MNR does not trap and relocate pumas in Ontario, the trail cameras set up on properties are most likely the property of the Ontario Puma Foundation and anyone seeing a cougar in Ontario can email me or go to The Ontario Puma Foundation website to report a sighting. I am the secretary of the foundation. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks Nemo for posting the map. Pam Dallaire [email protected]
  11. Thanks guys, yes, it actually isn't easy doing LOOSE painting. But I love other artists that can pull it off. Achieve a believable image in the least amount of brush strokes. You would think I used a large brush but I found that swirling around a small brush created a thick textured look. Pam
  12. Here is the finished Owl painting for The Owl Foundation's annual event. Thank you Brandon for providing me with such a beautiful reference shot. I'll be ordering a free print for Brandon this month. Acrylic on Solid Wood Panel, 17 x 11". Pam
  13. Great painting, a lot of movement. Pam
  14. I LOVE the boat shot Brandon! Good work as usual. Pam
  15. Hi Dan: As I am always dealing with composition, I wish that the posts were separate from the bench itself. Otherwise it is a beautiful shot. Pam
  16. I love the monkey photo. You caught it just right. Pam
  17. I've always loved your paintings. I wasn't well over the winter and couldn't paint for 6 months. As soon as I felt a little better I started up again. Some old masters said their paintings improved with an increase in vision problems. You get to the heart of the subject and leave all the details out. Also, we have a painter in our club that can only paint for 10 minutes a day and he finishes two paintings a month. You have a great talent, don't let it go to waste. Pam
  18. Rats, I thought it was up here. Pam
  19. I have the BEST cleaner and biodegradeable! Ammonia. It's bleach so wear work clothes and gloves. It evaporates so you only need a spray rinse. Don't smell the fumes, do it outside. Pour the ammonia on a rag until damp. Wipe, rinse, it's that simple. Try a test spot if you are worried. The clear finish on the boat will protect the colour. It worked like a charm this spring and fertilizes the grass when you rinse. Pam
  20. Thanks Dan,Bly and the others who sent me a message. It looks like I'll be trying a few recipes this week. Pam
  21. Thanks guys, this cream pie will get EATEN not plastered on a face. Just getting over a stomach bug so I'll wait a few days to try it. Food doesn't impress me right now. Thanks again. Pam
  22. Hi all: I need help. I need an original, full fat recipe for cream pie for a special occassion. Every recipe I have tried doesn't come close to the pie I tasted at my husband's french canadian relatives over 10 years ago. They aren't around so I can't ask them. I'll try anything you suggest, I think it is full cream but I'm really not sure. I don't know how they get the stiff consistency with the creamy taste. Thanks in advance. Pam
  23. Great painting as usual. I never change a painting once I decide it's finished, my sister always wants to take hers out of frames and retouch them. I always make sure I varnish mine before I change my mind. I like them better when some of the detail is left to the imagination. Yours turned out great. Pam
  24. I want to thank Basskicker for providing me with a reference photo to use for this painting. Tree Fall Bear: Pam
