  1. Which makes them as Canadian as anything made in B.C., Ontario, or P.E.I. I've checked their web site and it doesn't state specifically that the boats are made in Canada, can anyone confirm? If not I'll contact them.
  2. Added, and faulty links fixed.
  3. If they looked like these, then they were sandhills. Took this in June just south of Sudbury. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrsbaczBu80&list=PL4477C43B1104E9BE&index=9&feature=plpp_video
  4. Noted and modified. Thank you, gentlemen!
  5. Oh, let's not open up that can of worms again.
  6. Do you have an address and contact info? Can't find much on-line.
  7. Naden Boats added!
  8. $$$$$$$
  9. Yeah, should have given the technical details. 3 exposures, bracketed +-1/3 stop, my camera has that feature. I know manual focus and filters wouldn't have anything to do with HDR, but they can make the original pictures better. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE autofocus. Well, what I should say is that I HATE not having the option of manual focus. And I'm still pissed that Mama done took my Kodachrome away. And before anyone even thinks about it, it is pointless to engage me in debate on that subject. I will not yield.
  10. Downloaded and used a free trial version of Photomatix. I'm happy with it. But I resolve to never again buy a camera that does not have a manual focus option, and that cannot take filters. Trying to get this picture with the ridiculously bad autofocus on my Fujichrome Finepix S1500 took me over 20 attempts.
  11. I don't know which sick person invented that abomination, but it brings to mind that well-known old Hittite curse; "May his testicles shrivel unto the size of raisins."
  12. Yeppers: 1) Alcohol 2) Caffeine 3) Sugar 4) Fat 5) Bacon
  13. This could be the gravest danger facing the world today; a very real possibility of a bacon shortage.
  14. Prints are available here. I'm seriously contemplating getting one.
  15. You seem to have missed the screaming sarcasm in my comment.
  16. Bottom line: 7 years ago Bettman and the owners IMPOSED a settlement, and now because it isn't working it's the fault of the players. Makes perfect sense to me. And a correction to those who think that we pay the player's salaries: not one cent that we put into the turnstiles goes to the players, every penny goes to the owners. They then decide how much the players will get. Seems that they decide to pay them a lot, and then whine that they're paying them too much. Snivelling money-grubbing crybabies.
  17. If this doesn't blow your mind you probably haven't got one:
  18. More like a spork.
  19. If that's where I think it is, good haul!
  20. Another vote for Mitchell. Scugog can whip up too, lots of open water. But the Nonquon River is an option at the northwest corner.
  21. Thanks to my IBS ice fishing, in fact most outdoor cold weather activity, is not possible. A cold draft across my abdomen is one sure way of setting it off, along with many other triggers. I can bundle up, but if it hits me then I have to get out of it quickly. So when the weather is cold enough to require me to dress like an astronaut, fishing goes into hibernation until spring.
  22. Oh dear...
  23. Busted a gut! Stolen and posted on facebook.
  24. I'll try the line, don't know if there's any way of checking it before getting a new one. But I talked to Father-in-law the other night and he says it's been 3 years since it was last fired up, so that opens up more possibilities for trouble. But hey, it was free!
