  3. I have a 1998 17.5 SC and wouldnt part with it. All welded hull. probably same as your talking about. I have a 90hp on it right and the thing seems perfect even though max is 115hp rating. If you can get a good deal on it i say go for it.
  4. I think those Leeches are off for the summer but city hall should still have a few around....
  5. Welcome aboard! that thing is huge!
  6. Not the greatest by far. Finished fixing my livewell by and on the water with my Father at 3pm, casted casted and casted and we managed 3 SM, two over 3 and kept a smaller one for the pan. Allways fish my backyard southern GB and the water was fairly rough until about 7. Will be out in the morning once the batteries charge up.
  7. JD all the way, we just restored a 1972 110 and as said above its a tank!!!! I looked at the newer JD's at HDepot and what crap compared the older models. Our little 110 really is a tractor.....
  8. thanks Peter! I've been looking for this without even knowing it
  9. Yes ensure your transducer can be adjusted so you can tilt a few degress forward or rear. Forward will give you better highspeed and I tilt to the rear when using downriggers as It shows the balls perfectly, once Im at the depth I want them at I tilt it back straight down or slightly forward and seems to works good for me. Play around with it as electronics on a boat are a black art. What works for some will be different for others.
  10. If light is on with the jeep turned off then it sounds like you have accidently connected it to a constant 12v supply line. Double check your harness.
  11. thanks Fisherman! remember seeing that site before, thnx for the link! Looks like noone will be driving out there again this year but walking on should still be allright.
  12. Thinking of heading out to do some perchin later this afternoon. Anyone local know how the shoreline is holding up?
  13. Dont worry about the added weight.....i mean you would only be adding the weight of a gallon can so basically the weight of an extra bait bucket. I have done this to my 17'6 Fischer underside using a product from the states basically the same concept as bed-liner only not as rough finish. I could not tell the difference and i used 2 gallons. i will be doing both inside and outside of my 14' aluminum this spring as its great stuff and stiffens up the hull noticably. i say go for it and dont let guys who never tried it discourage you.
  14. Hey Cityfisher, how did you make out with the bike? Was it the choke?
  15. 2nd....x67 is a good unit.
  16. You have the same bike i do. you are running it with half choke. Exactly the same way my bike was running last year when the choke broke. The V2 have a know issue with the cable seizing where it forks into the two carbs, hense the reason the choke cable or plastic lever breaks. I had to spray lube into the cable and move it until it freed up. (took some time to free it) or purchase a new cable and the new plastic lever. All AC dealers stoke these as they know they all break after a few years. Free the cable and your bike will run fine. If you need some good directions go to www.arcticchat.com tons of guys with the same issue. Goodluck!
