I should of added to my first post with Remington and Winchester,that they had pups together.Winney,as most called her,had a litter of 9.All went to great homes.Heck, one went out to Bancroft and one went west to Goodrich. Must of been a good mix I would say. One even stayed close to home.She was the last to go.We called here lazy mrs Daisy.Bettys boss took her.

Oops, forgot about our Cuddles.She,s the mrs,s dog.We got her when she was just a wee girl (she was the runt) .Still had the Winchester around then.She mothered her.She picked up the ,lift paw and point from her. Shes a Cockapoo.Shes also getting up there in age aswell.10 this year.

Heres my late friends.Hurts to post this.Remington the black lab, that couldnt swim,and Winchester,my shorthair pointer.When she found a downed bird,she would point,then sit on it.Craziest thing I ever seen.

Baseball was not for my kids.They tried it one year,but they loved rep hockey and soccer, and that was enough. Oldest played AA-AAA,youngest, local travelteam.Both goalies .Oldest traveled as far east as Bowmenville (week night games) for league hockey games,then there was the tourneys.Kanata for hockey and soccer in the summer . I tell ya,it was hard on the sleeps and the pocket book.Thank goodness the younger one gave up the hockey for skateboarding,although 5-6 boards a summer was a bit of a hit aswell.LOL I could say I dont miss it,but there is a part that wished ,they could do it again.All good times,well almost all.

Two plastic bags A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her. On game days, a lot of fans come and pee through a knot hole in the fence, right into my flower garden. It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know. Then I thought, 'Why not make the best of it? ' So, now, on game days, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my hedge clippers. Every time some guy sticks his thing through my fence, I surprise him, grab hold of it and say, 'O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.' "Well, that seems only fair," said the cop, laughing. "OK. Good luck! Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?" "Well, you know", said the little old lady, "not everybody pays."

She says over by the A channel.I say Ok.So off we go.She knows that turkey and deer have been in the area,cause Bob shows them during his weather report. .Hell were just accross the road.So not thinking much,I put on the flip flops,,,,,,,Head on over for a stroll to see if we see any animals. No animals just feathers,,,, She,s happy Now I get,,,Lets go for a venture into the bush,,,,,OK Looking like a good deer trail,I say ok lets venture. Boy we found alot of stuff. The guys that drag this in, must of really need a dime bad. On we go and come a cross the mrs,s fav berry. Not far away, was this old pan.It was very heavy and had to be old.Sorry for the look away,she got bit.LOL I warned her about the skitters. It,s amazing what you will find in a small bush.Old fence lines,,, Old jugs,,,,No, not my mrs,s. Good thing I and she, have a sense of humor . OH OH,getting dark.Not really,but with the heavy green cover from the trees,the bush was getting dark. Now this is where she finds out who knows what.Cant stress the mrs,s out. I say to her,just head for the sound of the road.I knew where we were,but this would be a good test for her.I let her lead the way.She finds a mud hole.but was still egar to find her way. And I must say she did a great job.She found her way to the raod. And bringing up the rear was I.Never leave a lady behind, Home for a quick wash up,,,Oh ,did I say I wore my sandels for this little walk? LOL We went though alot of stickles and swamp.It was a great adventurus walk for us. She now understands what we go through in the fall. I for one will not tell her,it much easier in the fall. That was fun. It aint a fish,n report , but it,s liv,n.
