Those are the two colors i have for the x-rap slashbaits. Im thinking silver blue for the first crank than the perch pattern for the second. Thanks for all the info on chooseing color and feel free to keep adding comments.

I know you need many different colors of lures just wondering if someone has had more success with one color than another on the Rapala X-Rap Shad. Im only getting 1 for now to try out. So what color should i start out with please? Mainly for large and small mouth bass.

try going to google images and put in salmon jumping lot's of photos. I understand if you want something from us but if it's a last resort kind of thing go to google. Hope this helps

5-6lbs. 23inch is just under 2 feet, thats a long fish even up to me. and it looks fairly chunky....good catch man!

What's your favorite magazine for fishing information? I think this will help out a lot of new anglers to find out even more info. My two favorites are "Bassin" and "Outdoor Canada" They are both cheap and full of info, some issues can be repetitive but i like these two.

What a story, makes things seem so much more important to me and im sure to everyone else.

Strickly Mono here, i might use flurocrbon on a leader but thats it. Also not to sure about using braid i know it is strong but braid might be to easy for fish to see in the water but who knows different things work for different people.

You should try Lake Scugog, i see them things jumping around and making the water muddy in the summer time.
